Grounds Maintenance
 * £13.26 per hour
 
* 36.25 hours per week
 
* Days Mon to Fri

* Driving Licence Required
* We are currently recruiting for a Grounds Maintenance Operatives to cover sites throughout the Rochdale Borough. The contract will initially be weeks but is likely to be extended / lead to permanent work for the successful candidate.
You will be responsible for maintaining communal green spaces and duties will include:
 
* Grass cutting
 
* Weeding
 
* Pruning and cutting shrubs and trees
 
* Using hand held machinery
 
* General tidying and maintenance
Knowledge and skills required:
 
* General awareness of Health and Safety and an ability to work in line with risk assessments
 
* Able to work with minimum supervision and use your own initiative
 
* Ability to undertake a wide variety of work including heavy lifting
 
* Excellent customer service skills – put the customer first
 
* You must hold a full driving licence
