We are seeking an Assistant Security Controller to assist the Senior Controller with alarms and CCTV monitoring across all sites owned by JD Sports Fashion PLC. The role requires expeditious resolution of alarms, timely communication with stakeholders, and adherence to company policies and health & safety guidelines.

• Deal with alarm activations efficiently and update relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure procedures related to the ARC are followed and escalated when necessary.
• Liaise with police/fire for alarm activations.
• Use technical knowledge to assist with intruder alarm setting and activations.
• Update key holders and confirm identity checks.
• Monitor CCTV, report issues to managers.
• Prepare and send nightly reports on issues.
• Identify faults, record incidents, and liaise with Security Tech.
• Adhere to company policies and health & safety guidelines.
• Conduct weekly checks as per schedule.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
• Perform other reasonable activities as required.
• Produce footage as requested and ensure GDPR compliance.

• Experience with health and safety requirements.
• Excellent computer literacy; record data accurately.
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment.
• Team player, supportive of others and the Duty Controller.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Quick response to issues in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in the security industry / alarm receiving centre.
• Pass relevant exams after training.
