Administration Officer

Location:

HMP Rochester, Category C / YOI & Male prison.

Contract:

Full time | Permanent.

Salary: £28,853.57.

We are seeking a dedicated Administration Officer to join our team at HMP Rochester. Join a team that is more than just a group of colleagues – we work Monday to Friday as a supportive and driven family, working together to create a safe and nurturing environment.

As an Administration Officer you will work alongside experienced and passionate colleagues, including Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, Cleaners, and Administrators, to make a positive difference and provide a safe and secure environment for all.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the smooth and safe operation of the Facilities Maintenance Team.
  • Assist in coordinating services across the prison environment.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Use IT systems, including CAFM and other office tools, independently without supervision.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in using a variety of IT systems including CAFM.
  • Experience in a busy office environment.
  • Experience working without supervision.
  • Knowledge of IT systems.
  • Up to date First Aid qualification.
  • Administrative experience.
