Plant Buyer

Qualifications

• Engineering degree
• Min 3 years in the same position
• Good knowledge in SAP
• Interest in continuous improvement
• Fluent English
• Flexible, organizational skills und Communication skills

• Execution of local purchasing tasks in coordination with Lead Buyer and Purchasing Manager Location
• Local market research for commodities IT, services and tooling
• Local customs declaration and fiscal declaration (quarterly, yearly basis)
• Operational supplier management
• Close communication and coordination with Commodity Manager & Lead Buyer
• Execution of local purchasing tasks and global purchasing targets
• Alignment of price, cost & project related topics with CM & Lead Buyer (e.g. through Lead Buyer concept)
• Support CM & Lead Buyer in annual price negotiations
• Maintenance of purchasing data of the location
• Execute purchasing requisitions and purchase orders day-by-day
• Invoice verification / clarifying price differences
• Handle escalations of quality and logistics issues at the location
  
  Coordinate purchasing subjects in projects of
• the plant in alignment with Lead Buyer and Commodity Manager
• Conduct and communicate supplier evaluation out of plant perspective
• Local contract management
