Equipment Demand Operative

Equipment Demand Operative – Amey – Wainscott Barracks, Chatham, Kent – 40 hours per week – Requisition

• Operate forklift/telehandler
• Prepare equipment for demand and clean it before and after use
• Check and prepare CES
• Compile all associated documentation and handover paperwork
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the pool location
• Deliver and collect equipment and spare parts as required
• Complete job cards in accordance with data entry requirements for the Fleet Management System
• Assist engineers as required
• Be willing to work away from the regional pool location and in other regional areas
• Be prepared to undertake out‑of‑hours duties, including weekend work and callouts

• Full UK driving licence
• No restrictions to gaining MoD security clearance
• Ability to assist in loading and unloading of equipment, tools, STTE and spares
