A growing manufacturing company located in Rockford, IL is seeking an experienced Sales Specialist to support both new and existing customers.
Key Job Responsibilities- Supporting both new and existing customers in the machine tool industry
- Provide technical and all sales support to customers
- Answer sales calls and provide exceptional customer support
- Generate quotes, proposals and manage the sales process
- Utilize the Customer Relationship Management System to maintain existing and prospective customer data
- Follow-up on CRM referrals to generate interest and create sales opportunities
- Serve as a liaison with production, shipping, or outside carriers to trace or expedite delayed shipments
- Utilize the Material Resource Planning system to assist customers with order forecasting and delivery dates
- 3-5 years of technical customer support or sales experience
- Bachelor's Degree in technical field is preferred
- Experience with MAPICS and CRM software preferred
