We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced, and creative Lighting Designer to join our in‑house design team within the real‑estate development business and work on exciting high‑end hospitality projects in the UK and worldwide.
Responsibilities
Interpret the client brief and collaborate with interior designers and architects to create and develop creative lighting concepts that complement and enhance the design and user experience.
Produce lighting sketches, detailed drawings, schedules, and 3D renders.
Specify high‑quality products and fixtures aligned with the project aesthetic and goals.
Adjust designs based on client feedback while maintaining functionality.
Independently explore innovative materials and techniques that enhance future projects.
Create installation manuals and documentation.
Supervise / manage the lighting production.
Create experiences where physical space meets digital interaction.
Requirements
A degree in Lighting Design, product/industrial design, interior architecture, spatial design, or equivalent (e.g., stage design).
At least five years of professional experience.
Proven experience in lighting design within high‑end residential / hospitality projects.
Good knowledge of material properties and solutions.
Ability to think from small to big scale in spatial setups.
Fluency in 3D software (Rhino, Grasshopper Sketch Up), Dialux, AutoCAD, and Adobe Suite programs (, Ps, and Ai).
Ability to produce sketch renders for internal reviews in rendering software (such as 3D Max, Twinmotion, Lumion, Vray, etc.).
Interpersonal and presentation skills, capable of meeting high industry standards.
Portfolio sample of work (both professional and academic).
Professional level of English.
Nice to Have
Familiar with UK / EU building regulations.
Hospitality design experience.
Rendering and animation software skills (Twinmotion, V‑ray, Enscape, Unreal Engine).
Ability to work remotely.
