Task Description
Develop scientific algorithms in SAR remote sensing, image processing and mission analysis.
Conduct engineering requirements analysis and flow‑down activities.
Develop mathematical models and budgets for optical payload performance.
Perform mission analysis for satellite optical systems.
Carry out calibration activities for operational SAR systems.
Understand the physical and functional architecture of satellite systems.
Define and execute end‑to‑end verification approaches.
Write technical documents and project reports.
Personal Requirements
The ideal candidate holds an engineering master’s degree, preferably with a Ph.D., and has strong analytical, problem‑solving, and statistical‑analysis skills for temporal and spatial data.
Experience with scientific data analysis and a team‑working mindset are essential, as well as an openness to diverse cultures and collaborative problem solving.
Language
Fluent English – spoken and written.
