As part of their continued expansion in Italy, they’re looking to appoint a Senior Project Development Manager to lead the development of utility-scale solar PV projects, from origination through to financial close.
Responsibilities
Lead the development of utility-scale solar PV projects in Italy
Manage projects from origination through permitting, grid connection and financial close
Oversee land acquisition, environmental assessments and technical studies
Manage permitting processes and engagement with local authorities and grid operators
Identify and mitigate environmental, technical and regulatory constraints
Coordinate internal teams and external advisors across development milestones
Support handover of projects into construction and delivery teams
Requirements
5+ years’ experience developing utility-scale solar PV projects in Italy
Proven experience across land acquisition, permitting, grid connection and environmental constraints
Strong understanding of technical constraints and development risk
Technical background, with an engineering degree or similar
Experience with BESS projects is a strong advantage
Based in Rome or willing to relocate
Fluent Italian and English
