Senior MEP Project Manager – Data Centre Construction

We are seeking an experienced Senior MEP Project Manager to join our team in Milan, specializing in data centre construction.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate all MEP design and construction activities, aligning with project objectives and client requirements.
Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to achieve timely, cost-effective delivery.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve technical challenges and optimize system performance.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with safety standards.
Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing proactive solutions to maintain project integrity.
Ensure adherence to local building codes, regulations, and industry standards for data centre construction.
Oversee commissioning and testing of MEP systems to guarantee optimal functionality and energy efficiency.
Prepare and present detailed reports, including progress updates and financial forecasts, to senior management and stakeholders.
Drive best practices for sustainable, energy‑efficient design and construction in all projects.

Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of experience in MEP project management, focusing on data centre construction.
Extensive knowledge of MEP systems, data centre infrastructure, energy efficiency strategies, and high‑voltage electrical substations.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera), AutoCAD, and Building Information Modeling (BIM). Strong understanding of Spanish building codes and regulations related to data centre construction.
Excellent budget management, risk assessment, and problem‑solving skills.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with ability to manage diverse teams and stakeholders.
Flexibility to travel to the construction site on 4 days a week.
Fluency in English and Italian.
