Position: Pressure Vessel Compliance Engineer (m/f/x)

Wieland Provides  is active in the research, development and production of heat exchangers for refrigeration and air conditioning technology. With locations in Italy, the USA and China, the company stands for energy-efficient and sustainable technologies worldwide. The company was founded in 1968 and has been part of the Wieland Group since 2022. Its product portfolio includes shell-and-tube heat exchangers and spray evaporators.

Your Future:
Design heat exchangers and pressure vessels in accordance with ASME VIII using Sant'Ambrogio Next Gen software
Manage and validate outsourced projects
Prepare certification drawings
Prepare and share documentation for the certification process with various bodies (PED, ASME, DNV Marine, LR Marine, etc.)
Manage existing certifications
Preliminary design using SW 3D Solidworks
Manage tests attended by certification bodies
Act as Certified Individual for UM vessels

Your Potentail:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent;
5-7 years' experience in similar roles in structured industrial contexts;
Good knowledge of ASME VIII Div.
1 & ASME II codes
Good knowledge of Directive 2014/68/EU
Good knowledge of technical drawing (AutoCAD and/or Solid Works);
Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English
Ability to manage relations with authorities during the design phase and ability to manage documentation related to attended tests
Knowledge of EN13445-2 & EN13445-3 preferred
Familiarity with naval regulations for pressure vessel design
Knowledge of Sant'Ambrogio Next Gen calculation software
