Software Engineer Back End

For our Pisa-based office We are looking for an enthusiastic Software Engineer Back End who will be part of a software team of world-class engineers who design and develop customer-friendly software solutions aimed at ensuring people’s safety in hazardous environments, such as mines, and preventing risks in building and infrastructure monitoring.
He / she will join the team that conceives and develops core services for the monitoring solutions running on the server back-end, having the opportunity to deliver code that provides highly accurate data and algorithms, used by state-of-the-art products, successfully operated to reduce risks in several working activities.
What we want you to do :  The duties and responsibilities of the position include the following :
Working in a team for the design and development of services and relevant infrastructure for a back-end server application
Work on troubleshooting and performance optimization
Stay up-to-date with new technology trends
Compliance with workplace health and safety requirements and directions when working on customer / dealer / end user sites
Additional duties may be assigned from time to time
What would we like to see :
Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
Fluent in data structures, multi-threading, design patterns, data modeling
Strong with Object-Oriented Design and Programming (Java)

Experience of software development with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) approach
Knowledge of Spring Boot and Spring Framework
Knowledge of REST APIs, Web Sockets concepts

Experience with Windows and Linux OS
At least 3 years of relevant experience in the role
Will be considered a plus :
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodology
Familiarity with Continuous Integration environments
Use of Test Automation practices and frameworks

Working experience with databases
Knowledge of AWS cloud services
Languages :
Italian : strong written and spoken skills
English : strong written and spoken skills
