💰 £70,000 per annum + Car Allowance
Hill McGlynn Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a well-established and reputable construction contractor based in Romford, who are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join their growing team.
Our client delivers a broad portfolio of works including new build projects, repairs and refurbishment, and cladding/facades schemes. Due to continued expansion and an increased project workload, they are now looking to appoint a Quality Manager to lead and maintain high standards across their construction operations.
The Role
As Quality Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring that all projects are delivered in line with company procedures, industry standards, and client expectations.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems
Ensuring compliance with ISO standards, specifications, and contractual requirements
Conducting site inspections, audits, and quality reviews across live projects
Managing snagging, defects, and quality-related issues through to resolution
Working closely with project, site, and commercial teams to promote a strong quality culture
Liaising with clients, consultants, and subcontractors on quality matters
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the business
The Ideal Candidate
Proven experience within the construction industry (non-negotiable)
Previous experience in a Quality Manager or similar quality-focused role
Strong knowledge of new build, refurbishment, and cladding/facades projects
Excellent understanding of construction standards, specifications, and QA/QC processes
Confident communicator with the ability to influence site and management teams
Highly organised with strong attention to detail What's on Offer
