Eclectic Recruitment is delighted to be working with a well-established firm based in Romford, who are seeking an experienced Practice Manager / Office Manager to oversee the smooth running of their office.

This is a key position within the business and would suit someone with strong conveyancing and compliance experience, who is confident managing people, processes, and regulatory requirements within a legal environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Overall management of the firm’s day-to-day operations

* Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, including SRA and CLC standards

* Overseeing conveyancing processes and supporting fee earners where required

* Managing staff, including recruitment, performance, and development

* Handling office administration, policies, and procedures

* Liaising with external suppliers, accountants, and regulators

* Ensuring systems and workflows are efficient and compliant

The Ideal Candidate :

* Proven experience as a Practice Manager or Office Manager within a legal firm

* Strong background in conveyancing and legal compliance

* Excellent knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks

* Confident people manager with strong leadership skills

* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities

* Professional, proactive, and detail-oriented
