Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum

Hours:

Monday‑Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (Hybrid working available after training)

Our client, a well‑established organisation that values its employees, is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their team. This pivotal role will support the Leadership Team in managing the organisation's financial operations. • Prepare the organisation's overall annual budget.
• Complete and submit all required documentation to the General Council.

• Prepare information for the annual audit and financial statements for submission to auditors.
• Produce accounts to trial balance for delivery to auditors/accountants.
• Liaise with auditors throughout the audit process.
• Complete and submit annual accounts to the General Council.

• Prepare monthly management accounts for the Leadership Team.

• Oversee day‑to‑day financial transactions in collaboration with the Delegation Treasurer, including international payments and receipts.
• Line manage Finance Assistant(s).
• Support medium‑ and long‑term financial planning.
• Ensure accurate preparation of community accounts.
• Oversee outsourced payroll activities.
• Ensure compliance with commission finance requirements and reporting.
• Assist with insurance renewals and claims.
• Support administration of the investment portfolio.
• Reconcile all bank accounts monthly and annually.
• Undertake any other relevant duties as required.

• AAT Level 4 (or equivalent) qualification or working towards the qualification.
• Minimum of three years' experience in a similar role.
• Strong ability to manage complex financial data with excellent attention to detail.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively and independently.
• Self‑motivated and proactive approach.
• Confident IT skills, including MS Excel; experience with Sage is advantageous.
