Tax Manager

Tax Manager, Camberley, £55-65k DOE Join a well-established, growing, and innovative business and advisory firm based in Camberley who are looking for a Tax Manager to work with their Tax team. Being responsible for all aspects of taxation, this office-based role (modern offices with easy access and free parking) is perfect for a driven, ambitious, and versatile individual looking to make a significant impact by providing comprehensive tax solutions and advice to both businesses and individuals.

Day-to-day duties:
Advise on various taxes including Personal Tax, Trust Tax, Inheritance Tax, Capital Gains Tax, VAT, Research and Development, P11D, Form 42, and tax planning. Corporation Tax knowledge is an advantage. Assist and train colleagues in Trust tax. Maintain a detailed working knowledge of the impact on tax in respect of changes to accounting standards and guidelines. Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients.

Prepare complex Personal Tax Returns and review working paper files prepared by other team members. Advise on overseas tax implications regarding Personal Tax Returns. Report directly to the partners. Follow and update existing systems and develop new policies for the firm as appropriate. Liaise with clients on planning opportunities and provide written reports. Develop the tax department and business services to attract more clients/work.

Provide ad hoc advisory services. Required Skills &

Qualifications:

CTA qualified with experience in both personal and corporate tax. Good knowledge of VAT, Research and Development, Trusts, Inheritance Tax, and some overseas tax. STEP qualification preferred. Up-to-date knowledge of tax legislation. Highly IT literate with proficiency in various accounting software packages.
