Salary:
Up to £75,000 DOE

Vine Tree Vets – heart of the Wye Valley, within easy reach of Bath, Gloucester, Bristol and the Cotswolds. Modern practice converted from a pub, two consulting rooms, operating theatre, imaging suite, main prep room, cat‑only prep room, cattery and separate dog ward.
Role SummaryExperienced Clinical Lead responsible for all clinical aspects of the practice, ensuring high standards of care aligned with RCVS guidance, industry regulations and IVC Evidensia best practices. Lead a dedicated team of vets and nurses, manage clinical operations, shape a varied caseload and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Clinical governance and protocol implementation
- Monthly veterinary meetings and quarterly M&M rounds
- Clinical audits, quality improvement and mentoring the team
- Running appraisals and integrating the two sole‑charge branches into the wider practice
- Full or part‑time 30‑40 hours per week, 4‑5 days 8:30am‑7pm, no out‑of‑hours or on‑call duties, Saturday morning rota participation
- MRCVS‑qualified with strong clinical experience
- Proven leadership and mentoring skills
- Deep understanding of clinical governance and RCVS standards
- Passion for developing teams and delivering patient‑first care
