Unit Catering Supervisor – Rawtenstall, Rossendale – Permanent part‑time (27.5 hours per week) – Salary £24,796-£25,185 per annum.

Lancashire County Council provides catering services to over 500 schools across Lancashire, serving more than 60,000 school meals per day. We are looking for committed individuals to join the service.

• Cook and serve food and beverages in accordance with agreed menus and production plans.
• Direct and/or supervise other employees.
• Order supplies and manage deliveries.
• Maintain records and stock control.

• Recognised catering qualification and/or food hygiene certificate (desirable).
• Experience catering for large numbers (desirable).

Monday to Friday, term time only. Hours are variable depending on school meal uptake.

The post is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended in 2013). Successful candidates will need to apply to the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) for a disclosure.
