* 39-50 hours per week (Paid)
Precision Recruitment Group are recruiting experienced Ground workers for a leading Civils & Construction contractor on a temporary to permanent basis. Please DO NOT apply if you have no desire to secure a permanent PAYE role.
Initial works will be based around Huddersfield, with future projects across West Yorkshire and South Yorkshire.
 
* Established Civil Engineering Contractor with over 50 years' experience and a strong pipeline of groundworks, and infrastructure projects.
 
* Working as part of a 4-man Groundworks gang (2 existing operatives + 2 new starters)

* Duties include:

Foundations, Digging Out, Kerbing & Edging, Flagging & Paving, Drainage, Gulleys, Stoning Up, Restoration Works
 
* Plant operations, conduct daily plant checks and ensure all equipment is in safe working order
 
* Work in line with all site health & safety regulations and company procedures

About you:

* Minimum of 3 years' Groundworking / Civils experience
 
* CPCS or NPORS & Right to Work in the UK - Essential
 
* Full UK Driving Licence - Essential
 
* Ability to work independently or as part of a Groundworks team
 
* Enthusiastic with the ability to use initiative when working unsupervised
 
* Competent in:
Foundations, Kerbing & Edging, Flagging & Paving, Drainage, Gulleys, Stoning Up, Restoration Works

* Start on a temporary basis - Permanent position offered after 16 successful weeks
 
* 08:00-16:30 Mon to Thurs & 08:00-15:30 Friday (Overtime Available)
 
* Company Vans + Fuel Card (TBC)
 
* Weekly Pay - Basic hourly rate + Time & Half after 39 hours
 
* Continued Training & additional Tickets / Qualifications
 
* Paid Travel Time
