Fabric Technician

Fabric Engineer – Rotherham, G  (On‑site)

Hours:

40 Monday – Friday.

As a Fabric Engineer at JLL, you will maintain and improve the structural integrity and appearance of buildings on the Rolls‑Royce site, ensuring compliance with UK safety regulations.

• Conduct regular inspections of building exteriors and interiors to identify maintenance needs.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programmes for building‑fabric elements.
• Manage repair and renovation projects, ensuring compliance with UK building codes and regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to address client concerns and improve property performance.
• Prepare detailed reports on building conditions and recommend appropriate actions.
• Oversee contractors and vendors involved in building‑fabric maintenance and repairs.
• Stay updated on the latest building technologies and sustainable practices in the UK construction industry.

• Experience in building maintenance or facilities management in the UK.
• Strong knowledge of UK building materials, construction methods and safety regulations.
• Excellent problem‑solving and project‑management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and UK‑specific building management software.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
