A highly regarded and growing regional civil engineering contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Estimator to strengthen its commercial team in Rotherham.

This is not a back-office numbers role. You’ll be trusted to price work properly, influence how projects are won, and play a key part in the company’s continued growth.

The Role

Prepare accurate and competitive tenders for civil engineering projects

Price works including groundworks, drainage, roads, and infrastructure

Analyse drawings, specifications, and site information

Build and manage subcontractor and supplier pricing

Identify risks, opportunities, and value engineering options

Work closely with delivery and commercial teams to secure work

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience as an Estimator within civil engineering

Strong background in groundworks and infrastructure

Confident using take-off and estimating software

Commercially aware with strong attention to detail

Able to work independently and manage multiple tenders

Construction-related qualification preferred (not essential)
