A highly regarded and growing regional civil engineering contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Estimator to strengthen its commercial team in Rotherham.

This is not a back‑office numbers role. You'll be trusted to price work properly, influence how projects are won, and play a key part in the company's continued growth.

You’ll be estimating real civils work — not theoretical tenders — within a contractor that values accuracy, commercial awareness, and common sense.

• Prepare accurate and competitive tenders for civil engineering projects
• Price works including groundworks, drainage, roads, and infrastructure
• Analyse drawings, specifications, and site information
• Build and manage subcontractor and supplier pricing
• Identify risks, opportunities, and value engineering options
• Work closely with delivery and commercial teams to secure work

• Proven experience as an Estimator within civil engineering
• Strong background in groundworks and infrastructure
• Confident using take-off and estimating software
• Commercially aware with strong attention to detail
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tenders
• Construction-related qualification preferred (not essential)
