Management Accountant

Management Accountant | Rotherham | Up to £45,000 - £50,000 | Permanent Your new company Our client is a well-established business located in Rotherham, actively seeking a talented Management Accountant to support its continued growth and success.

Full-time | Permanent | Salary £45,000-£50,000 depending on experience Your new role Lead the preparation and posting of monthly journals, including accruals, prepayments, and other key month-end adjustments. Manage month-end and quarter-end close processes, ensuring accurate cut-offs for sales and purchase transactions (AP & AR). Produce and analyse monthly management accounts, including P&L and balance sheet reporting. Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and resolving variances.

Maintain robust financial controls in line with group policies Oversee and support the purchase ledger, including invoice approvals and weekly payment runs. Manage the fixed asset register Provide monthly overhead analysis against forecast and budget, highlighting key variances and trends. What you'll need to succeed Part-qualified, newly qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA), or qualified by experience Strong knowledge of month-end processes, including accruals, prepayments, and journal preparation Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of financial reporting Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines What you'll get in return Salary between £45,000 – £50,000, depending on experience, plus excellent company benefits Permanent, full-time role with long-term development opportunities Supportive team and a business that values your growth Exceptional training and development support.
