About the role:

The Clinical Physiology team at Pulse is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Invasive Cardiac Physiologist to join our team in Rotherham. This is a full-time position, starting on 20th September 2024, with a competitive hourly rate of £40 – £50. The role is initially for a duration of 3 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and departmental needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

You will perform invasive cardiac procedures, including angiograms, pacemaker insertions, and electrophysiology studies. You will monitor and assess patients’ cardiac function during procedures. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care. You will maintain accurate and detailed patient records. You will ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Essential:
  • IBHRE / BHRS accreditation (desirable).
  • Relevant qualifications and registration as a Cardiac Physiologist.
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in invasive cardiac physiology.
  • Strong knowledge of cardiac physiology and invasive procedures.
• Desirable:
  • Experience in invasive cardiac procedures.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
