Pattern​/Mould Maker

Position: Pattern / Mould Maker (Permanent)
Climb Recruitment are proud to be working with a leading manufacturing company in the Rotherham area

Pattern / Mould Maker

* Take receipt of pattern assembly technique from Design Department.

* Confirm pattern manufacturing route. SLA pattern, Styrofoam pattern, sand print mould.

* Manufacture pattern as per route card issue number / rev number.

* If Styrofoam pattern is to be manufactured generate CAM tool paths using Autodesk Powermill.

* Transfer tool paths to CNC machines in Pattern shop and manufacture parts.

* If SLA pattern is to be manufactured, complete SLA build set up using Lightyear and Magics software.

* Post build SLA clean ups.

* Manufacture running and gating systems either by hand or CNC machining referenced on route card and/or assembly technique.

* Assemble pattern and running and gating system and prepare for the ceramic mould department.

* Ensure all patterns have been measured by the CMM department prior to assembly.

* Operate 3D sand printing machine.

* Clean and prepare for casting 3D sand printed moulds.

* Raise NCR's when required.

* Ensure housekeeping is maintained to a high standard.

3 shift pattern

* Week 1 - Day

Shift: *
* * Monday to Thursday: 6:00 am - 2:00 pm

* Friday: 5:00 am - 1:00 pm

* Week 2 - Afternoon

Shift: *
* * Monday to Thursday: 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm

* Friday: 1:00 pm - 9:00 pm

* Week 3 - Night

Shift: *
* * Sunday to Thursday: 10:00 pm - 6:00 am

* Paid overtime is available:

* Monday - Friday:
Time and a third

* Saturday:
Time and a half

* Sunday:
Double time
