An opportunity for a CNC Milling Machinist to join a specialist business in the tooling industry. Our client has delivered a wide range of high‑profile projects and, following the award of another major contract, requires a CNC Milling Machinist to join their team. With over 40 years in business, they are an approved business in the tooling industry and many of their workforce have been with them for 20 years, enjoying a vibrant working environment.

They have supplied tooling to international and national customers, covering aerospace and oil & gas markets.

• Setting and operating CNC machining centres.
• Working from and reading engineering drawings and using a range of measuring equipment.
• Manual milling as and when required.
• Independent offline programming / proving own programmes – ideal, not essential.

• Apprentice trained / time served CNC Milling Machinist.
• CNC Machinist with good knowledge of setting / operating / editing programmes.
• Heavy Engineering Industry background.
• Trained in the use of overhead crane.

• Permanent position from day one.
• Average earnings last year above £50k.
• Hours available seven days a week if able to work seven days.
• Evening / night shift.
• Work within a highly experienced machine shop.
