The role

Due to continued growth, a brand-new vacancy has arisen for a Logistics Team Leader to join the Supply Chain team at our Rotherham site.

You will lead the FLT team as the first point of contact, ensuring all activities are delivered efficiently, safely, and in line with operational targets.

This is an integral role at key stages of our supply chain process, and you will collaborate with colleagues from across the business in order to achieve timely results.

Location: Rotherham (S61)

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (a potential rotational pattern including 06:00-14:00, 08:00-16:00 and/or 10:00-18:00 shifts)

Responsibilities
  • Effectively lead a team in the delivery of warehouse/factory logistics duties from good housekeeping to the movement of goods across the site.
  • Ensure that the health and safety compliance of the team is prioritised at all times and good practice is role modelled and championed.
  • Accurately booking products via the internal ERP systems, ensuring that materials deliveries are loaded/unloaded in a timely fashion
  • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
  • Report all non-conformances, accidents, incidents, near misses in line with policies and procedures.
  • Assist in delegation and completion of any other duties deemed necessary by the Supply Chain Manager.
  • Work closely with the site management and wider operational teams.
About You

You will need to have:

  • Previous FLT experience with required licences
  • Experience of managing a small team and delivering through others
  • A good standard of IT literacy and numerical reasoning with sound application of Microsoft Office packages
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to communicate confidently and effectively with a range of stakeholders
