About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated individual to join our Cold End Change Team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring efficient job changes, maintaining machinery, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Complete job changes for inspection and packing machinery within agreed timescales.
Carry out both reactive and planned maintenance tasks.
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and regulations.
Maintain machinery in safe working condition and optimal performance after adjustments or repairs.
Provide effective breakdown and preventative maintenance services, including sourcing or manufacturing parts as needed.
Support out-of-hours and weekend breakdowns or job change setups when required.
Contribute to continuous improvement activities and help establish standard procedures.

What We're Looking For:

Apprentice-trained electrical/mechanical engineer (minimum City & Guilds / BTEC Level
3).
Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of fault finding, installation, and maintenance of electro-mechanical equipment.
Experience in FMCG or glass industry preferred.
GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths, English & Science (Grades A-C).
Flexible, self-motivated, and confident with a 'can-do' attitude.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Logical and analytical thinker with attention to detail.
Comfortable with change and committed to continuous improvement.
