Dermatology Patch Testing Nurse –

Join our dedicated Dermatology team and help reduce NHS waiting lists with expert care. Are you an experienced Dermatology Nurse with a passion for patch testing and skin care? We are currently looking for skilled and enthusiastic nurses to join our Patch Testing service, working alongside a highly experienced clinical team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the diagnosis and management of contact dermatitis and other skin conditions, while developing specialist skills in a collaborative environment.
Job Responsibilities- Support the full patch testing process, including application, reading, and interpretation in line with clinical protocols
- Assess, plan, and evaluate individual care plans for patients undergoing patch testing
- Provide clear patient education on the patch testing procedure and aftercare
- Collaborate closely with dermatology consultants and the wider multidisciplinary team
- Deliver high-quality wound care and topical treatments where needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow up on patient results
- Patch testing experience
- 2 years minimum experience within an outpatient setting
- Currently practising in Dermatology or has practised within Dermatology, for a minimum of 6 months, over the last 12-month period.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
