Quality Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Review of ISIR and FAIR reports prior to submission
• First point of contact for internal quality concerns
• Investigate Non-conformances, both internal and external and implement CAPA measures
• Compilation and submission of PPAP documents as requested by customers
• Provide inspection support as required (Absence / Workload)
• Review and approval of concessions prior to submission to customers
• Conduct daily QA audits
• Conduct and lead 8D investigation reports issued by QHSE Manager
• Development of process controls for specific processes
• Generate Supplier Corrective Action Reports (SCAR’s) follow up to ensure effective CAPA are implemented

• Recent / relevant experience in a similar Quality role within metal fabrication / engineering
• Demonstrable understanding of quality management principles, methodologies and core tools
• Precision in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical documents
• Highly motivated, proactive, team-orientated and outcomes driven
• A flexible approach to be able to adapt to changing and challenging requirements
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to generate innovative concepts and ideas
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
• Ability to remain focused on Quality and consistently reiterate its importance to others

• Monday-Friday Monday – Thursday  Friday  (Finish at 1330 every other Friday)
