Area to be covered:
Sheffield, Doncaster, and some Stockport, Warrington and Liverpool postcodes

Based: 20-30 miles Sheffield

Remuneration: £35,000-£45,000 + 15% Bonus

The role of the Area Sales Manager – Electrical Control gear and Switchgear will involve:

* Field sales position, selling a distributed range of controlgear and switch gear and ancillary products

* Selling into electrical panel builders, switch gear builders, systems integrators, and a smaller amount into OEM’s and other industrial end users

* Responsible for circa 50 active trading accounts and a sales ledger of approx. £2m

* 50% account management, 50% new business development within dormant accounts and new prospects

* Customers can turnover up to £400,000 per annum

* 4 days a week on the road visiting approx. 4 customers per day, one day per week working out of our clients’’ Sheffield depot

* Promoting well-known electrical brands with industry leading products

* Dedicated field sales person for the depot, working closely with the branch manager

The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Electrical Control gear and Switchgear with:

* Electrical industry field sales experience

* Specific knowledge of controlgear and switch gear is not essential

* Stable career history

* Open and honest, willing to work as part of a team

* Self-motivated

* Prior experience with electrical panel builders, switch gear builders, system integrators, OEM’s and other industrial end users may be beneficial

* Professional approach
