CTO​/Founding Engineer - Trigger; Computational Creativity

Trigger isn’t a scheduler and it doesn’t generate content. The world has enough of those.

Trigger is a computational creativity layer: it studies context and human behavior to explain why posts work, what to publish next, and how content will perform – improving social performance by understanding people, not by posting more.

Backed by Builders (AI‑native venture studio) and working with leading social‑driven companies as design partners. Trigger is pre‑product, early validation stage with paying design partners.

We’re looking for a Founding Technical Leader – someone who can be a Founding Engineer or CTO builder – to architect and build Trigger’s cognitive engine: the multimodal system that turns creative behavior into understanding.

You’ll work across:

• multimodal AI (video, image, audio, text)

• full‑stack product engineering

• context + knowledge modeling

• insight + prediction systems

You’ll be building alongside Federico Motta (content psychology & narrative intelligence). Federico brings the why; you help build the how.

• Design and build the core architecture of Trigger’s AI + product stack

• Implement ingestion pipelines, embeddings, reasoning workflows, and APIs

• Develop the early Context Graph connecting creative assets, signals, and outcomes

• Ship the Insight & Prediction Engine – why content worked, what to do next

• Rapidly prototype > harden > deploy a fast, beautiful product used by strategists and creators

• (If senior/CTO level) Set engineering culture, own technical vision, and hire the first engineers

• You’ve built and shipped end‑to‑end AI products (web + AI layer)

• Strong across backend and AI systems

• Experience with
  multimodal models is a strong plus

• Deep familiarity with RAG, vector DBs, graph thinking, semantics

• Strong systems thinking: data pipelines, embeddings, infra, orchestration

• Love for quick iteration, shipping, and problem‑solving

• Interest in storytelling, design, and human behavior

• Founder‑level ownership; comfortable in early‑stage chaos

• (If CTO profile) Ability to set technical vision, roadmap, and represent the technical thesis to investors

• AI:
  Lang Graph / Lang Chain, OpenAI / Anthropic
• Data: pgvector / Weaviate / Pinecone, Postgre

  Vercel, Supabase, Railway, Cloudflare

• Category creation: not analytics, not scheduling – cognitive intelligence
• Hard AI challenges: multimodal context engineering
• Immediate impact: direct access to top‑tier design partners
• Upside: early equity + genuine ownership (including co‑founder equity for the right person)
