About the RoleAs Bid & Tender Manager at Signicat, you will lead complex public-sector and enterprise bids, maximizing win probability while ensuring commercial viability, compliance, and scalable delivery. You’ll own the end-to-end bid process and collaborate closely with Sales, Product, Legal, Finance, Security, Marketing, and Partners to deliver high-quality, competitive proposals.

What you will do- Lead and structure the full bid lifecycle: qualification, planning, governance, submission
- Analyse and translate tender documentation, RFP/RFI requirements, contracts, SLAs, and commercial conditions
- Set and enforce internal deadlines to secure timely, high-quality input from legal, security, product, and commercial teams
- Develop and refine compliant, accurate, and persuasive proposal content
- Interpret and challenge technical requirements, ensuring responses are realistic and deliverable
- Manage and maintain a central content library (references, templates, pricing guidance, security documentation)
- Build win strategies and value-based narratives with Sales
- Ensure alignment with ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, eIDAS, and other security/compliance frameworks
- Create procurement-ready pricing structures aligned with SaaS best practices
- Prepare Signicat for future opportunities through monitoring, intelligence, and early engagement
- 5+ years in bid/tender management, presales, strategic sales operations, or similar roles
- Background in software, SaaS, security, identity, or other regulated technology environments
- Proven experience with public-sector RFPs, enterprise tenders, and framework agreements
- Strong opportunity qualification with clear go/no-go discipline
- Ability to protect margin, risk posture, and solution integrity
- Win-strategy development with value-based positioning and clear SaaS differentiation
- Solid SaaS pricing literacy (T&Cs, SLAs, data residency, discounting, risk assessment)
- Experience managing supplier and partner consortia
- Capable of challenging technical decisions
- Strong understanding of SaaS architectures (cloud, multi-tenant, APIs, integrations)
- Experience working with security and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001/27701, SOC 2, GDPR, eIDAS)
- Ability to translate complex RFI/RFP requirements into clear, business-ready responses
- Confident in stress‑testing proposals and constructively challenging Product and Technical teams
- Run bids as structured projects with clear timelines, milestones, and risk management
- Manage multiple tenders in parallel without compromising quality
- Build scalable, repeatable bid processes and coach stakeholders on win themes and storytelling
- Experience with public and private tenders across multiple regions (EU/UK/US preferred)
