Technical Coordinator; Food Manufacturing

A leading FMCG Manufacturer is currently recruiting for a Technical Coordinator / Technical Assistant / Quality Technologist to join a forward thinking and growing business. Reporting to the Technical Manager, this Technical Coordinator / Technical Assistant will be a hands-on role to support the Technical Manager in maintaining food safety, hygiene, and quality standards across site operations.

Technical Coordinator / Technical Assistant / Quality Technologist responsibilities:

• Daily checks across site to monitor food safety, hygiene, and compliance.
• Collect and review production, quality, and hygiene records.
• Check staff compliance with food safety practices, hygiene rules, PPE, and site procedures.
• Assist with taking product and environmental samples and manage the sampling schedule.
• Assist with audits, inspections, and customer complaints.
• Support traceability exercises and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Promote continuous improvement in technical and quality processes.

This Technical Coordinator / Technical Assistant will ideally be someone with experience in a technical or quality role within fresh produce or food manufacturing and a knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety standards.

This role will require a strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Experience in HACCP, GMP, BRCGS, Food Safety, QA Technician, Compliance, Audits, Red Tractor will all be deemed advantageous.
