European Groupage Operator

Freight Forwarder based in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, is looking to recruit an experienced Road Freight Groupage Operator.

The purpose of the role is to coordinate and consolidate shipments, plan routes, handle all relevant documentation, and communicate with customers, suppliers, and overseas partners.

• Groupage operations for both import and export consignments
• Coordinate with drivers, subcontractors, and in‑house fleets for collections and deliveries.
• Prepare and process all necessary road freight documents, such as CMRs, PODs, and customs declarations.
• Ensure compliance with UK and EU transport regulations.
• Act as the main point of contact for customers, suppliers, and overseas partners.
• Provide quotes and negotiate rates.
• Monitor and track shipments, providing timely updates to customers.
• Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth operations.

The role will be covering Benelux, Italy, Turkey, Morocco markets, so experience within these would be an advantage, however not essential.

Candidates must have at least 2 years’ experience within Groupage Road Freight, and have excellent customer service skills.
