Class 1 Tramper

Pure Staff have gained new opportunities for multiple experienced and reliable Class 1 Tramper. This is an ongoing position. Our customer is based in the Rugby area who will be looking for multiple drivers to start ASAP on an ongoing basis.

To be a successful Class 1 Tramper for this role you will require:

UK Category CE license for minimum 1 year
Minimum 6 months Class 1 driving experience
No more than 6 points on your licence
Good level of communication
Good knowledge of UK roads
Flexible working attitude The role for a Class 1 Tramper:

2-3 Collections/Deliveries per day
General haulage Curtain sided work
Use of pump truck for unloading occasionally
12-14-hour shifts
Required to spend extended periods away from home
Often staying overnight in vehicle provided for them
Any parking goes through 'SNAP'Pay Rates:

Monday to Friday days = £16.15ph
Monday to Friday nights = £17.00ph
Saturday all hours £18.25ph
Sunday all hours £19.50ph £25 each 'Night out'

Your hourly pay rate is £16.15, and you will accrue £1.95 per hour in holiday pay for every hour worked, which is banked and paid to you when you take annual leave. We do this to make sure our drivers are fairly paid and encouraged to take proper time off work as we believe regular rest is essential for safety and mental wellbeing of all workers."
