HGV Class 1 Driver – Rugby, Warwickshire People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver based in Rugby, Warwickshire , supporting a well-established client with ongoing work and excellent opportunities. • Days – 06:00–08:00 Starts
• Nights – 18:00–20:00 Starts
• 4 on 4 off shift pattern Rates of Pay • £17.00 per hour (Days) • £18.00 per hour (Nights) Benefits

• Immediate starts Day-to-Day Duties
• Carry out shuttle runs and trailer swaps (up to 4 per day)
• Operate and drive Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured safely
• Adhere to traffic laws, company regulations, and delivery schedules
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and site staff
• Report any vehicle defects or maintenance issues
• Assist with loading and unloading when required Essential Skills
• Valid UK Category CE / Class 1 Driving Licence
• Minimum 12 months' CE / Class 1 driving experience
• No more than six penalty points (minor infringements only)
• Valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
• Good spoken and written English

Desirable Experience
• LST (Extended Trailer) experience
• Previous commercial driving experience
