HGV Class 1 Driver – Rugby People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Rugby, Warwickshire . This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay and genuine room for growth and progression. Shifts
• Four on, four off rota (rota provided)
• Nights
• Start times between 18:00 – 20:00 Rates of Pay
• Monday to Friday: £18.00 per hour
• Saturday: £20.00 per hour
• Sunday: £22.00 per hour Benefits

• Immediate starts available
• Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties
• Class 1 trailer drop and swaps between depots
• Manual work required with curtain-side trailers, including removing and placing safety bars
• Operating and driving Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently
• Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensuring all cargo is loaded and secured correctly
• Adhering to all traffic laws and regulations Essential Skills
• Valid UK Category CE licence
• Minimum 12 months' experience driving CE vehicles
• No more than 6 penalty points (minor infringements only)
• Valid UK CPC card and Digi card
• Good spoken and written English

Desirable Experience
• Experience driving commercial vehicles Training Provided
• Driving assessment must be passed
