Overview

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-focused Purchasing Administrator to support a busy Procurement department. This role is essential in ensuring smooth Goods Inwards processing, maintaining accurate data, resolving supplier queries, and supporting the wider purchasing function. Purpose of the Role

To provide administrative and operational support to the Purchasing function, ensuring efficient Goods Inwards processes, supplier communication, and data accuracy within the MRP system.

Key Responsibilities

* Administer all documentation and transactions related to incoming purchase orders accurately and on time.

* Liaise closely with the Warehousing team to resolve any Goods Inwards discrepancies.

* Input data quickly and accurately into the computer system and generate reports and labels as required.

* Maintain and update all relevant documentation efficiently.

* Contact suppliers to resolve discrepancies related to incoming goods.

* Assist in maintaining accurate data within the MRP system.

* Provide support to colleagues across the Purchasing department.

* Carry out general administrative duties including filing, copying, and scanning.

* Strong attention to detail with the ability to process large volumes of data accurately.

Hours of Work

* Monday–Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm (30-minute lunch)

* Friday: 8:00am – 1:00pm (30-minute lunch)
