What you’ll be doing
As a key part of the supply chain function, you’ll manage end‑to‑end procurement activity to ensure materials, components, and services are delivered on time, in full, and to the required quality standards
. This is a hands‑on, proactive role where you’ll build strong supplier relationships, monitor performance, negotiate value, and keep production running smoothly.
- Full E2E procurement ownership – from sourcing to PO management
- Ensuring continuity of supply in a fast‑paced, engineering‑led environment
- Managing supplier performance, risk, and delivery metrics
- Supporting NPI and engineering projects as required
- Working cross‑functionally with operations, planning, and quality teams
- Identifying opportunities to improve cost, lead time, and supply chain resilience
- Proven experience as a Buyer within aerospace, aviation, defence, engineering, or a similarly regulated/complex manufacturing environment
- A self‑starter who stays calm under pressure and can take ownership of their portfolio
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes and the importance of on‑time delivery
- Confident communicator with solid negotiation skills
- Someone who enjoys problem‑solving and working collaboratively in a technical setting
