Hexagon Recruitment are looking for an Electrical and Mechanical Engineer for our client, an established manufacturer based in Runcorn.
ELECTRICAL AND MECHANICAL ENGINEERRUNCORN
£40,000 per annum (flexible depending upon experience)
Key Responsibilities- The role is Electrical 75% / Mechanical 25%
- Oversee installation and maintenance of equipment
- Perform electrical and mechanical calculations and risk assessments
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members
- Dealing with breakdowns (asked to stay behind and paid overtime)
- Minimum 3 years experience
- Knowledge of electrical codes and standards
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Monday to Friday – 8 hours per day
- Must be available for overtime and emergency call‑outs
- Any hours worked above contracted 40 hours per week paid at time + half
- Call‑outs on Sunday (day or night) paid at double time
- Minimum call‑out pay of 4 hours
