As our Roadside Recovery Driver, you’ll go the extra mile for our customers.

On Target Earnings£41,000 for a CE licence, and £35,000 for a C licence.
SalaryGuaranteed minimum c. £33,862 for CE (HGV
1) licence, £30,490 for C (HGV

- Shifts:
Rolling roster, working 18 out of 28 days with 2 weekends off. Standard shifts are 9 hours 45 mins (including 45 min break). End‑of‑shift flexibility required (up to 12 hours in a shift including break). - Full uniform, boots and the best available equipment provided.

You’ll be the friendly face of the UK’s largest motoring organisation. To our customers you’re the superhero. You’ll be ready for anything, anytime, anywhere and in any weather. You’ll use your technical skills to load vehicles onto your truck and get the vehicle and customer to a garage for repair, or wherever they need to be.
What will I be doing?- Communicator:
Great with customers, calming influence, reassuring and professional, ensuring they feel safe and their needs are met. - Self‑starter:
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team, driving to different locations regardless of weather. - Fixer/problem‑solver:
Thrive in all situations, utilise expertise to solve various issues.
- Resident within 25 miles or 1 hour travel from the depot (postcode included in advert).
- Full driving category C licence (HGV
2). Holding a CE (HGV
1) licence is preferred but not essential; we can help you get it. - Driver CPC (certificate of professional competence) and digital driver/tachograph card.
- Willingness to adapt to new technology – training will be provided.
- Ready to work shifts including evenings, nights, weekends and bank holidays.
