Restaurant Manager, Broederstroom, NWest

We are seeking a Restaurant Manager for a permanent role based in Broederstroom, Northwest Province.

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria :

• Grade 12 with a Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Restaurant Management or Business Administration (ideal)
• 3 years experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the hospitality / restaurant industry
• Proven track record in restaurant operations, staff supervision, financial management & customer service
• Experience with systems, inventory control and cash handling
• Good understanding of health safety & hygiene compliance
• Work hours:
  
  Monday‑Friday 8am‑5pm and every first and last weekend of the month will need to be worked

The successful applicant would be responsible for but not limited to :

• Oversee daily restaurant operations
• Budgeting, promotions and cost control
• Lead, train and inspire the team
• Manage inventory, supplier relations, compliance with health & safety and liquor regulations
• Collaborate with kitchen, bar and event teams
• Handle customer feedback and complaints
• Ensure the restaurant runs efficiently, profitably and in line with company standards

Salary : R18,000 per month, Provident & Risk benefit
