Assistant Retail Manager

Our client, a dynamic and growing retail entity, is seeking a proactive and experienced Assistant Retail Manager to support the management team in their Rustenburg store. You will work closely with the Store Manager to drive sales, manage staff, optimize store presentation, and ensure a seamless shopping experience for every customer.

• Assist the Store Manager in the daily operations of the retail store in Rustenburg .
• Support the achievement of sales targets through effective team leadership and customer engagement.
• Supervise and motivate retail staff, providing guidance and training to ensure high performance.
• Contribute to maintaining excellent visual merchandising standards and store appearance.
• Assist with inventory management, including receiving stock, stocktaking, and managing stock levels.
• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and resolve complaints efficiently and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system and other retail technologies accurately.
• Foster a positive and collaborative team culture within the store.
• Deputize for the Store Manager in their absence, taking responsibility for overall store operations.

• Previous experience in a retail supervisory or assistant management role is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to contribute to sales targets and drive store performance.
• Strong understanding of retail operations, including customer service, stock management, and merchandising.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and motivate others.
• Proficiency in using POS systems and other relevant retail software.
• A flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and public holidays, as needed in Rustenburg .
