We're a brand-new, food-led pub set to open early this year in beautiful Ruthin, North Wales. Our mission is to serve fresh, locally sourced, and inventive dishes in a welcoming, vibrant environment. As part of a growing family-run pub group, we put our teams first - because it's your talent and passion that make our venues truly special.
We're looking for a Deputy Head Chef to join our kitchen team and help shape the culinary heart of our new pub. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone creative, ambitious, and passionate about delivering exceptional food in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
What You'll Do:

• Support the Head Chef in running a busy kitchen efficiently.
• Help develop and deliver a seasonal, innovative menu that excites our guests.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire kitchen staff to achieve excellence.
• Maintain the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation.
• Assist with stock management, ordering, and cost control.

• Proven experience in a professional kitchen, ideally in a leadership role.
• Strong culinary skills with creativity and attention to detail.
• Excellent team management and communication skills.
