What You'll Do:

Design and implement jigs, fixtures, and tooling to streamline production.

Lead engineering projects, troubleshoot equipment, and manage 3D-printing capabilities.

Produce technical drawings and 3D CAD models for both standard and custom products.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams-including R&D, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing-to solve complex production challenges.

Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to boost quality, productivity, and profitability.

Maintain preventative maintenance schedules, ensure operational uptime, and support safety compliance.

What You Bring:

Minimum 5 years' experience in production engineering.

Strong hands-on, problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects.

Solid experience with Solid Works (or similar CAD software) and technical drawings.

Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and quality management processes.

Excellent organisational, communication, and collaboration skills.

Adaptable, proactive, and solution-focused with a drive for continuous improvement.

Skills:

Experience with scientific equipment or glass working is a plus but not essential.

Current UK driving license and ability to visit suppliers occasionally.
