2 years to less than 3 years Work setting - Sheet metal fabrication shop Tasks
- Document work completed
- Lay out, set up and operate one or more light or heavy metalworking machines
- Operate machines or equipment which weld, solder, bolt, screw or rivet metal parts together
- Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions
- Operate brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines Equipment and machinery experience
- Riveters (power)
