Responsibilities will include eliciting and documenting the actual needs of stakeholders—which frequently involves investigating and clarifying their expressed desires—to determine underlying business requirements. With support, Business Analysts enable change within JDI by defining needs and recommending solutions that deliver value to stakeholders while also considering the potential implications of technology in the current business environment. This position requires full‑time on‑site presence.

• Support the Construction & Equipment Division as part of the JDI IT Team
• Understand business needs and how IT supports and enables business success
• Prioritize and deliver IT services and solutions to meet business needs
• Provide input to the IT roadmap to support business strategy
• Modernize processes by leveraging various technologies
• Understand key business data and quality
• Perform requirements elicitation and documentation
• Build use cases (definition and development) and develop test cases
• Document business processes
• Understand capability of analytics tools and enable business to act from analytical insight
• Manage integrity, confidentiality, and security of all datasets
• Expedite data analysis and reporting
• Understand the risk tolerance/profile of the business
• Collaborate with design and architecture
• Translate business process model to technical realization
• Participate in and in some cases lead IT projects

• A university degree, college diploma or related discipline
• At least 3 years of work experience in a business environment
• Preferably experience in an IT work environment, or experience in Construction, Manufacturing or Heavy Equipment & Civil Engineering industries
• Expert experience in Microsoft Technologies, particularly in O365, Power Platform, SharePoint, Teams, and Azure Dev Ops (ADO)
• Strong understanding of mobile applications and devices
• Experience with securely integrating external and internal systems
• Customer focused: motivated by inspiring others to do things differently
• Technically inclined, process oriented and driven by a natural curiosity
• Happy in an environment where you can work independently as well as collaboratively
• A continuous learner: acquiring new skills and software applications is second nature

• Experience using IT support & management tools such as Service Now, Visio, Intune, Active Directory, Microsoft SCCM, etc.
• Experience with learning management tools such as TT Perform and Convergence
• Experience with data modelling and presentation tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, and PowerBI
• Experience with business tools such as JD Edwards, DSI, Jira, AutoCAD, MS CRM, MS Project, Bid2
