The Role

The Server Analyst is responsible for the administration and support of server infrastructure across a global enterprise environment. This role ensures high availability, performance, and security of server systems, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and vendor partners to support business operations worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot physical and virtual server environments (Windows/Linux)

Respond to and fulfill data restore requests

Fulfill service requests and resolve incidents using as the primary work management platform

Support global data center operations and cloud-based infrastructure

Collaborate with network, security, and application teams to resolve issues and implement improvements

Participate in change management processes to ensure controlled implementation of system changes

Work closely with vendor partners to coordinate support, maintenance, and project activities

Maintain documentation for server configurations, procedures, and standards

Identify and investigate hardware and software issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement an action plan for resolution

Enforce server standards, guidelines, and best practices

Provide after-hour support and on-call support as required

Maintaining Distribution Lists

Act as an escalation point for service desk analysts

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)

3+ years of experience in server administration in a large-scale or global environment

Strong knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux systems

Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware)

Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS,)

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a global team

Preferred

Skills:

Scripting experience (Power Shell)

Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other core services
