Our client are looking for a Senior Water Hygiene Engineer to join their skilled team. This is a hands-on role involving a mix of planned preventative maintenance, remedial works, and risk assessments. This will be across sites including the NHS and MOD sites.

Water Hygiene Engineer Job Overview

Conducting Legionella risk assessments in accordance with ACoP L8 regulations
Disinfection of cold-water storage tanks and associated systems.
Calorifier inspections and descaling.
TMV servicing and replacements.
Water sampling and flushing regimes.
Cleaning and chlorination of water systems.
Supporting and mentoring junior engineers and apprentices.
Completing accurate and timely reports and paperwork.

Water Hygiene Engineer

Job Requirements

City & Guilds qualifications in Legionella risk assessment.
Full UK driving licence.
Excellent understanding of Legionella control and compliance.
L8 Awareness & Legionella Risk Assessment experience essential.
Competent with technical procedures, safe systems of work, and method statements.
Willingness to obtain MOD security clearance.
Based within commutable distance of Salisbury

Water Hygiene Engineer Salary & Benefits

Basic salary - £30,000 to £37,500 depending on experience
Company van and fuel card.
Full PPE and tools provided.
Ongoing training and CPD support.
Overtime
Working hours - 7:30am to 4:30pm (with flexibility to work 8am - 5pm depending on the client)
